The LGBT Bar Association of New York (LGBT Bar NY) is committed to diversity and inclusion, and strives to serve and reflect the full spectrum of the LGBTQAI+ community through events, outreach, and community support. We are making concerted efforts to ensure that membership reflect our unique community. We are also committed to diversifying the board, and have elected more women, persons of color, and trans attorneys to lead our organization.
LGBT Bar NY continues to develop initiatives to promote inclusiveness through its Diversity Committee, which hosts regular events and programs and recently re-launched its women's initiative. LGBT Bar NY has also worked to build relationships with other diverse bar associations to attract more diverse members to our organization and build bridges with allies in those important communities.
